This term, Class 4 went to Belmont Chapel to experience a LIFE exhibition put on by the ICE team. They learnt about Jesus’ life through interactive quizzes, music videos and stories. Thank you to Jemma and Karen for driving the children as this enabled us to offer the trip free of charge.
The Department for Education released a league table of primary school performance, showing the results of the 2019 Key Stage 2 assessments. Kenn Church of England Primary School reached fourth place in Devon with an incredible 93% expected and 27% high. View the Devon Live article here

KS1 had a wonderful trip to beautiful Buckfast Abbey this week. We made treasure boxes, listened to a Christmas story and explored the treasures of the Abbey. Many thanks to all the helpers who made this trip possible.

Children from Classes 3 and 4 took part in the Dawlish area cross country run today. In very muddy conditions, all of the children ran their hearts out and their scores combined to give the school a third overall for Y5/6, and a second for Y3/4.
