Class 2 What a wonderful day we had at Harper’s pond. We caught fish ( and put them back), watched maggots race, pond dipped and explored the area looking for minibeasts. Many thanks to all the volunteers who made the day really special.

KS1 had a wonderful trip to beautiful Buckfast Abbey this week. We made treasure boxes, listened to a Christmas story and explored the treasures of the Abbey. Many thanks to all the helpers who made this trip possible.

This week, the whole school has taken part in CAP workshops. CAP stands for Child Assault Prevention. The CAP team work with children and staff to help reduce children’s vulnerability to abuse. Through role-play and use of puppets, the children are given strategies for how to ensure they stay safe, strong and free.
The whole school were delighted to go the Kenn Centre to see the fabulous Theatre Alibi production of “I believe in unicorns”. All the children were transfixed from start to finish as they watched the story unfold.
