Class 4 Trip to Paignton Zoo

On Thursday 21st September, Class 4 went to Paignton Zoo. We had very enjoyable day and managed to stay dry (despite a rainy forecast). We went to a giraffe talk, with the keeper, and learned that giraffe tongues are black so that they don’t get sunburnt and that a giraffe can reach their ears and nose with their tongues. Our favourite section was baboon rock – where there was a lot of activity plus lots of baby baboons clinging on to their mother’s tummies.
